We would like to extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to Dr. Warapat Wongsawad, Director of the Eye Institute, Metta Pracharak (Wat Rai Khing) Hospital, for his distinguished contributions as an international speaker and his appointment as a member of the Strategic and Technical Advisory Group (STAG) for SPECS 2030.

In this role, he contributes to strategic planning and initiatives aimed at addressing uncorrected refractive errors and improving access to eyeglasses worldwide, with the goal of achieving at least 40% effective coverage by 2030.

The meeting was held at the World Health Organization (WHO) Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
